Coherent combining of fiber amplifiers is a promising technique to increase the overall output power from efficient and compact laser sources while simultaneously maintaining beam quality. Active phase controlling of master oscillator power amplifiers (MOPA) is one of the most common coherent beam combining (CBC) architecture [1-3]. Up to now, the highest-power obtained by CBC and CBC of largest number of fiber lasers have involved this configuration [4, 5]. However, it has seldom been employed in pulsed running regimes, Active coherent combining two fiber amplifiers in a 100 ns pulse regime was demonstrated by Lombard et al[6], and Seise et al reported CBC of two ultrashort laser pulses and 88 W average power was produced[7].
